| Taxicab drivers are independent contractors. The following items will be considered when evaluating a new enrollee/driver:

The age of the driver – we are looking for drivers who are at least 21 years of age |

U.S. driving experience |

The number of moving violations |
|
|
The number of at fault accidents |
|
|
The number of DWI convictions – any DWI convictions within 5 years will disqualify the driver, absent extenuating circumstances |

|
Texas Driver's License with current address shown |
|
|
Each independent contractor driver is responsible for obtaining a taxi driver's license from the City of Galveston
